ARTICULAR CARTILAGE REPAIR

The articular cartilage – the lining of the knee joint – can be injured during sporting activities or by direct trauma to the knee joint. Such injuries can cause pain, particularly with activity.

Several techniques can be used to try and repair the articular cartilage, including microfracture and cartilage transplantation, both of these being advanced specialist procedures in which Mr Neophytou is specifically trained.
